How do I know if my insulation needs removing rather than topping up?
Water staining, a musty smell, visible mold, rodent droppings, or material so matted it has lost its loft. We inspect and tell you honestly which it is.
Is the removal messy?
It is dusty work, but we vacuum into sealed bags, mask the route out, and protect floors. The attic hatch area is the only part of your home we work through.
Do you fix the cause?
We air seal and point out what we find, but we are not roofers or pest control. If there is an active leak or infestation, get that resolved first or the new insulation will go the same way.
